OTC Hearing Aids

fam din

Our team at Clark Audiology & Hearing Aid Center is headed up by Dr. Rachel Clark, an audiologist who understands the complex work of OTC hearing aids. The OTC offerings can be helpful tools to hear more clearly and avoid long-term problems, such as inability to understand your loved ones. But it can be challenging to know if this option is appropriate for you and your level of hearing loss.  Thankfully, our team can help you.

Assess Your Hearing

Your Clark Audiology provider will start by quickly assessing your hearing to ensure you get the right over-the-counter hearing aid. We’ll perform tests that check your overall hearing health to give you the best understanding before getting treatment.

Once we know what kind of hearing aid power you might need, we can suggest a few models that make sense. Not every hearing problem is the same, and some might respond to specific models more effectively. No matter what you need, we’ll be here to help you.

Help You Choose a Hearing Aid

At Clark Audiology & Hearing Aid Center, we can help you choose OTC hearing aids that make sense for your needs. For instance, we’ll sit down with you and talk about your options and make it easier for you to find one that fits your ears properly.

Just as importantly, we’ll work directly with you to ensure that you choose one that suits your personal style and hearing needs. After all, many over-the-counter hearing aids may sit outside the ear, so you want to choose one that looks great and feels comfortable in your ear every day.

Fit and Tweak Your Aid

After we select a hearing aid for you, we’ll ensure it fits comfortably. Even if it’s over the counter, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get expert help. We’ll work with you to ensure that it feels right in your ear and doesn’t cause serious discomfort whenever you try using it.

At Clark Audiology & Hearing Aid Center, we’ll ensure that your hearing aids work for you and we will strive to provide the hands-on support you need. In this way, you don’t have to worry about your hearing aid failing.
